There it was again! Holding my breath, I paused. I heard the faint hoofbeats of what seemed nothing less than a memory. The long lost whisper of yesterday echoed in the stillness of the heavy air. Panicked, I stole a glance around the room. Did no one else hear it? How was I to warn them when I was the only one who could hear the ever prominent danger? Who was I to be believed? The cacophony resounded somewhere deep within my soul. I stood and faced the glassed wall and peered terminally inward. The floor length mirror before me reflected a frightened, worthless coward. I turned away in silent shame.
